A Large Format Acrylic Workshop with Lou Anne Person

Lou Anne fills large canvases with color, big splashy, beautiful paintings of the flowers you know and love. Many of her paintings are realistic portrayals, but she also loves to paint extreme close-ups of flowers, resulting in abstracts and studies in almost nothing but color. Lou Anne has lived in Alaska for 45 years and studied art at the University of Alaska. She is an artist and instructor of interior design at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Lou Anne’s workshop is in the use of acrylic paints on large format canvas. Classes will be Friday thru Sunday, July 31 – August 2, from 9am to 5pm. On Sunday there will be an art show. and class will be over in time to catch the ferry to Homer. Class will be held at the Seldovia Native Association Conference room. Cost for the class is $250 if you register by July 15, after the 15th it will be $275, so best to do it early!
