June 18, 19 and 20 are the dates to reserve for this year’s
Seldovia Summer Solstice Music Festival
Mary Jane Lamond and Wendy MacIsaac, two Gaelic musicians from Cape Breton Island Canada, will bring us traditional songs with a fresh twist. Both tour internationally and have won awards, critical acclaim and a worldwide audience.
They’ll be joined by Festival emcee Robert Post. An entire theater company unto himself, Robert is a brilliant physical comedian, actor, dancer, juggler, and more.
Thursday there will be a song circle with the headliners aboard the Alaska State Ferry M/V Tustumena, on the way from Homer to Seldovia. Performances are Friday and Saturday beginning at 6:30pm, and Saturday afternoon workshops run from 1 to 4.
And be sure to take the chance to enjoy beautiful Seldovia on the longest days of the year!
